Camino Alchemy: Turning Footsteps into Life’s Gold. International Gathering, Vancouver. May 2025.
The Camino is a transformative experience that benefits from intentional integration once we return home. Drawing on personal stories, the insights of poets, philosophers and mystics, we share the slow art of integration.

Let’s Walk Home; a semi-supported, trauma informed Camino de Santiago.
Spring Meeting, 2025. Hamilton Chapter of the Canadian Company of Pilgrims
Review of a pilot program for pilgrimage. In addition to speaking about why people with trauma may want to approach preparation slightly differently, it is also pointed out how finding the "just right" balance of challenge and ease is good for us all.

In a Handful of Hours; the extraordinary experience of being an hospitalera.
Spring Meeting, 2024. Hamilton Chapter of the Canadian Company of Pilgrims
Volunteering as an hospitalera under the auspices of HosVol (Hospitaleros Voluntarios, España) is a life-changing experience and a Camino of its own. This talk explores what may be the medicine in the traditional welcome, particularly in donativo albergues, of welcoming strangers as honoured guests.

Six days to Santiago; preparing to go home.
Spring Meeting, 2022. Hamilton Chapter of the Canadian Company of Pilgrims
You have walked for four weeks straight. You should be excited to get back home. Why is it the closer you get to Santiago, the more you drag your feet? A little story about meeting one's Spirit on the road and receiving some instructions on how to return.

Camino Composting; slow, organic integration.
Fall meeting, 2022 Toronto Camino Community
Good things take time. Why it is important not to rush the sometimes disorienting stage of integration after your pilgrimage. Just like composting - a little work, a little rest - will do the trick. Don't be in a hurry.

A Day in the Life
Spring meeting, 2022 and Summer 2024 . Hamilton Chapter of the Canadian Company of Pilgrims
How does one live out of a backpack week's in a row? Where do you wash clothes? How do you find your way? And how do you even get there in the first place? This how-to is invaluable to just begin to process what your day-to-day life looks like on Camino. Great for beginners; useful even if you have a guide book.
